The exhibition presented a work-based generation meeting between two of Danish photography’s interesting profiles; the now deceased Keld Helmer-Petersen, and the younger photographer Jakob Hunosøe.

Keld Helmer-Petersen (1920-2013) is one of the most influential Danish photographers in the 20th Century. He was an international pioneer in colour photography and was a central figure in not only Danish but also European modernist photography. His first photo book, 122 Colour Photographs, is considered unique for its time, and he made a name for himself when LIFE Magazine published several pages from the book in 1949.

Jakob Hunosøe (1975) is a Danish visual artist based in Copenhagen. He graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen in 2004, and he has exhibited widely both solo and in group exhibitions, counting among others at Peter Lav Gallery, Trane exhibition (DK), Holstebro Museum of Art, Rønnebæksholm Museum, RØM (exhibition project). Jakob Hunosøe is represented in public collections such as The National Museum of Photography (DK), the Danish Arts Agency and the city of Copenhagen.
