Men vi venter is a visual story of climate refugees. For three years, photographer Daniel Rye has been documenting the life of farmer Mr. Mkundiza and his family in the small village of Kakoma in Malawi, who, like the rest of South East Africa, feels that the weather is becoming increasingly extreme and unpredictable. In pictures and words, Daniel Rye portrays the family’s struggle to survive an everyday life where extreme drought and devastating floods places great demands on the ability to adapt.
