Crest is set in a remote and enclosed Alpine valley, nestled on the Swiss-Italian border. By using the geography of this landscape, Stephen Kelly explores notions of isolation, belonging and home. Surrounded by steep mountains, the passing of time and a state of solitude combine deep within the high mountain walls, to create a portrait of a secluded landscape and an exploration of one’s place.
