Mandø is a tiny Danish island in the Wadden Sea, part of the North Sea. Mandø is accessed only at low tide, so visitors must adapt to nature’s cycle. This natural pace is visible in the repetition in the landscape, that is the main motif in this book.
Throughout Ole Jauch’s many visits to the island, where he photographed the landscape, Jauch realised that a driving force in the project was time as something to experience and express.
